Lovely golf course Mentmore and well worth a visit if you get chance to play it.
Probably my steadiest round of golf since turning professional, played the front nine to one under par with two birdies, and one bogey and the back nine was reversed with two bogeys and one birdie for a finish of 72 level par.
Nothing too exciting, not many mistakes just a very solid steady knock.
I wanted to get off to a fast start, get under par quickly to be in with a chance of a top 20 finish.
Unfortunately after a bogey at the 1st followed by another at the 3rd, it was going to be a struggle.
I did make birdies at the 4th and the 8th but with another bogey on the 6th I reached the turn in one over par.
Back nine again would describe as just steady golf two bogeys, one birdie for a final round of 74 (+2) which was also +2 for the tournament and I finished in a tie for 32nd place
